The Électro party, now officially named ÉlectroFEQ, will once again benefit from a big name in the industry with the presence of DJ Marshmello at FEQ 2020.
It was Skrillex who launched the electronic ball on the Plains of Abraham in 2015.
Arriving on the EDM scene in 2015 with the only single of his first album Joytime, Keep it Mello, Christopher Comstock of his real name is immediately noticed by the biggest names in the industry including the Dubstep master Skrillex, who shares the song on SoundCloud. The progression is therefore dazzling and it is now with 3 albums to his credit, which all bear the same name Joytime, Joytime II and Joytime III (original that guy), that he will perform on the Bell scene of the Plains of Abraham during the 53rd edition of the Quebec City Summer Festival.
Easily recognizable by his white helmet representing a smiling marshmallow, the artist from Philadelphia in Pennsylvania counts among his greatest hits titles like Silence, Friends, Together and Alone (no but really, the guy doesn’t rack his brain too hard to find titles!). The latter having become one of the most played songs of the last years with its presence in the most popular online game of the moment, Fortnite. He also collaborated with several well-known artists like Selena Gomez for the song Wolves, the rapper Logic for Happier, the singer R&B Khalid as well as rock band A Day To Remember for Rescue Me. A wide range of musical genres which will certainly be presented at of the ÉlectroFEQ evening on July 15, 2020and who knows, maybe with surprise guests.
Interestingly enough and proving the great talent of the young 27-year-old DJ, the renowned international magazine DJ Mag places Marshmello in 5th place among the best Disc Jockey on the planet, ahead of biggest stars of the genre like Tiësto, Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers (who were themselves the stars of the ÉlectroFEQ evening in 2018), Steve Aoki and even Skrillex.
When we no longer expected them, it seems that harmony has indeed returned within RATM (Rage Against The Machine) with first the announcement of a few concerts at major festivals in the United States, including the famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held in California. This was followed by confirmation of some thirty concerts, including the one at the Quebec City Summer Festival on July 18, 2020, which will be presented on the main stage of the Plains of Abraham.
There will be electricity in the air (Oh, the easy word game) on July 15, 2020 during Marshmello’s concert at FEQ 2020 during the ElectroFEQ evening of the Quebec City Summer Festival.
