In addition, because of its location on the edge of the corridor des cheminots, a bike path of 22 kilometers from the Cité-Limoilou to the Haute-Saint-Charles, you can discover this area by doing physical exercise. It is completely laid out so that you can go by bike and enjoy the park, it’s great!
During the year, you can enjoy the Arboretum and many historic buildings. Several exhibitions are, among others, presented at Maison Maizerets. In addition, Maison Maizerets, Chalet Lacroix, La Chapelle and the Edmond-Gagnon Pavilion all have rooms available for rent. During the summer, the Domaine de Maizerets in Limoilou offers bike paths, numerous game modules and water activities, such as a large swimming pool and water games. During the winter, 11 kilometers of classic cross-country ski runs are available. Moreover, skating trails and an introductory alpine skiing program for ages 5 to 8, the Maneige Experience, are available. Hiking trails, fat bike and snow scooters are also possible activities to enjoy on the site. All equipment is available for rent, but all activities are completely free! So it’s a great way to enjoy the winter and to discover unique sports with the family for a mini budget!
