Halsey at FEQ 2020

You will be enchanted by the angelic voice of the young pop sensation during the concert from Halsey at FEQ 2020 on July 10.

Halsey at FEQ 2020 is an opportunity to witness the rise of a pop mega star who seems destined to reach the highest peaks in music.

The artist, who is adamant about writing all the songs to appear on her albums, must do things right since 2 of her songs have already reached the first position of the prestigious Billboard magazine, namely Without Me and Closer. The last one being a collaboration with the electronic duo The Chainsmokers, whom were the headliner of the Électro FEQ evening in 2018.

Born September 29, 1994 in the small town of Edison, New Jersey, Ashley Nicolette Frangipane made a name for herself in 2012 with a video parodying international mega-star Taylor Swift and her relationship with Harry Styles of the late boy’s band One Direction. After some intimate shows in New York nightclubs, she explodes on the world stage with Colors, the 3rd extract from her first album entitled Badlands. She then went on to success with her 2 other albums, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom in 2017 and Manic as recently as in 2020.

The artist’s musical style is similar to the electro pop movement, on the melancholier side of the genre, with a voice which she describes as inspired by the indie genre, although it was not accepted by all. The texts of her songs, without surprises, are often inspired by the many romantic relationships she has had with other leading artists such as producer Lido and rapper G-Eazy, the last of which offered us the mega-success Him & I.

The first part of the evening will feature an Australian pop-rock group and especially their successes Don’t stop and Youngblood.

You will be delighted by the successes that are playing on all popular radio stations on July 10 with the Halsey show at FEQ 2020. Tickets for the 11 days of the Quebec City Summer Festival are on sale now for 110.00$ CAD.
